How and when to plant strawberries
Strawberries can be grown in all three seasons of summer, winter and monsoon; But the climate in Maharashtra from October to March is favorable for strawberry production.
Type of soil

For good growth of strawberries, there should be well drained, light, medium black, sandy poita, alluvial soil. The soil acidity index is between 5.5 and 6.5. The roots of strawberry seedlings grow vigorously in humid sandy soils.

Weather

Cold weather is good for this crop. Strawberries are successfully planted at temperatures of 10 ते C to 25 सें C on a sunny day in winter, and at 20 to 25 सें C in hot climates. It is better to get cold for a long time.
