Mobile-based Active Patient Compliance System, a system changing approach of meeting compliance and adherence to TB treatment. The framework was developed by ZMQ under its Freedom TB initiative (www.freedomtb.org). ACTS is a bottom-up model which gives control to patients and communities to effectively manage treatment using mobile phone tools for evidence-based compliance reporting, alerts and reminders and other information channels. ACTS empowers the patients with Active Compliance reporting and effective self-management of TB treatment.
