AEFRH | Fiestas Históricas

The Spanish Association of Historical Festivals and Recreations (AEFRH) was born within the framework of the First National Meeting of Festivals and Historical Manifestations, held in Cartagena in February 2000. It is made up of associations, foundations, local administrations or other organizations that organize parties, shows and recreations of character and historical argument and that have a high recreational and cultural component.

The AEFRH was born with the objective of joining forces and undertaking projects of common interest. Its purposes are to improve the quality and enrich in all aspects the parties and shows that are part of it, undertaking to do so, promotion and dissemination projects, establishing contact and exchange programs, etc.

It is currently in the process of growth and open, also, to exchange with those parties, recreations, events and similar organizations nationally and internationally that want to integrate or share their concerns and experiences for all, to promote the wonderful legacy we have with our history and recreate it so that it is known firsthand through its protagonist cities.

The Association is also a platform for international dissemination, since it is part of the European Confederation of Historical Festivals and Manifestations (CEFMH), made up of Germany, Belgium, Slovenia, France, Holland, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Spain.
