Drive Highlights tells you facts about the places around you. These points of interest include national parks, national historic sites, national monuments, museums, and more. This is a great way to pass the time on your next road trip.

With Drive Highlights you can:

* Learn as you drive - The primary way to learn about the places around you is while you are driving. As you drive, the app will look for points of interest nearby. When something is found information about it is read out loud along with display of the text and a picture when available. If the point of interest has an address then you will be presented with a “Drive To” button giving you easy access to directions in the cases where you are interested in driving to the point of interest.

* View points of interest in your vicinity - Another way to find information about points of interest in your area is with the Vicinity feature. This will give you a list of all points of interest in your area, with the closest ones at the top. Tapping individual locations in the list will provide all of the information and again, a “Drive To” button is available for easy directions when you are interesting in visiting one of the locations.

* See your history of facts - If after your drive you you would like to look over the places you saw, you may do so with the History feature. History allows you to review everything you have ever seen, with the latest point of interest at the top all the way to the first thing you ever saw at the bottom.

* Clear your history - At the end of the day we hope you enjoy Drive Highlights and continue to use it, but if you would like to go and do not want us to keep the locations you have visited it’s your data. At any time, if you do not want us to have your history data, you may go in and clear your history.

The app is usable full screen or split screen. If the area is too small, such as a small device or split screen, you will not see a picture of the location. This is why we prefer to use a mini map for our driving directions with Drive Highlights being in full screen, but any of those ways will work.
