Gothaer ePA APP
The electronic patient record (ePA) advances digitalization in the healthcare system and makes it easier for service providers such as doctors to exchange information and documents with each other and with patients. As a patient, you decide who is allowed to view the data. You can assign different authorizations and have access to your findings at any time via an app.
What is the electronic patient record (ePA)?
The ePA is your personal, secure storage location for your health data. What medication did the cardiologist prescribe? When was the last time an x-ray of your teeth was taken? All important information is stored in the ePA.
The data is stored on a central, well-secured server so that doctors, pharmacists and other medical professionals can access it from any location - if the patients allow it.
The ePA is intended, among other things, to help avoid unnecessary double examinations and improve the quality of treatment. Because therapies can be better coordinated when all information is available.
As a patient, you decide which documents are included in the ePA and who is allowed to view them.
