Ride a police motorcycle and patrol from morning till night. Enforcing the law will earn you promotions and bonuses; accepting bribes and assaulting people will be meticulously documented. Every decision will be scrutinized by the law.

*Kaohsiung Night Patrol* is a scenario-based learning game for those preparing for the police special exam. The map is reconstructed based on real Kaohsiung streets. For each case you encounter, you must make your own judgments: should you stop the vehicle, can you search it, when can you use a baton, and which crimes should you report? After making your choices, you immediately see the results and explanations of the relevant laws, allowing you to review the game after each round.

【Real Kaohsiung Streets】 Kaohsiung Station, Formosa Boulevard Station, Central Park, Xinxing Church, the light rail and harbor, Zhongshan Road, Zhongzheng Road, Wufu Road… the street names are all real. Landmarks such as Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital, Kaohsiung Medical University, Kaohsiung High School, Kaohsiung Girls' High School, National Kaohsiung Normal University, Music Center, Main Library, Sanfeng Temple, etc., can be viewed by clicking "Learn More" next to them.

[Lawful Duty Performance] Inspections, stops, checks, and arrests are conducted in accordance with the *Police Powers Exercise Law*, *Road Traffic Management and Penalty Regulations*, *Criminal Law*, *Assembly and Parade Law*, *Juvenile Delinquency Handling Law*, and *Medical Law*, among others. 66 legal articles are included, all verified against a national legal database.

[Over Thirty Types of Cases and Duties] Robbery, theft, gang-related disturbances, riots involving groups of 8+9 (referring to street thugs), street racing, drunk driving, drug driving, running red lights, parallel parking; legal marches, unauthorized assemblies, bribery; ATM fraud, impersonation of police officers, staged accidents; emergency room violence, school violence, abusive parents; roadside banquets, road construction, Love River rescue…

[Confrontations and Multi-Person Combat] The identities of criminals are clearly marked above their heads. The appropriate methods of handling are determined proportionally: orders, unarmed combat, batons, pepper spray, stun guns, or firearms. Even roadside chairs and traffic cones can be used.

[Day & Night & Weather] Patrols from 8 AM to late at night, with afternoon thunderstorms, strong winds, and flooding; the night when the arcade signs light up, and ambulances and fire trucks respond with sirens blaring.

[Promotion & Ending] From constable, sergeant, patrol officer, station chief to precinct chief, seven endings: model cop, good cop… or you might be summoned for questioning by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC).

[Free to Play] The game is completely free and requires no registration. When a police officer is down, you can choose to watch an ad to restart, or you can return to the save point without watching. You can choose to enable cloud saves so you can continue playing on a different phone.
