The book of Al-Ijma' Abu Bakr, known as Ibn al-Munzir, is one of the most useful books in the field of fiqh.

In this book, Ibn al-Munzir collects issues that become ijma' (agreement) among scholars based on his studies and scholarship on fiqh issues. Although in this book, there are also issues that are disputed over the validity of ijma' by some scholars, nevertheless this book is considered by the scholars as a book that is very useful and authoritative in discussing fiqh issues.

By studying this book, our knowledge will expand, not relying on just one fiqh rule, we will even study various fiqh rules that can keep us away from fanaticism in matters of fiqh law. As we know, there are many differences of opinion among the jurists regarding various fiqh issues, however in this book of al-Ijma' we will find out some of the agreements of the jurists' fiqh experts on several issues.

Based on the book al-Ijma' published by Dar al-Atsar, with its first printing, which was tahqiq by Abu Abdi al A'la Khalid bin Muhammad bin Uthman, there are 765 issues that are considered legal issues that have been pluralized. All of these problems are arranged and placed according to the chapters of fiqh which begin with Kitab al-Wuduk and end with Kitab al-Makatib.
