MelodyDroid

Melody Droid is light-weight music player developed for giving the users a different browsing experience over a large set of mp3s and play them. It is currently tested with almost 1000 mp3s.

Melody Droid supports mp3 browsing based on one or more of following filters - Album, Artist, Genre, Title and Year. In addition to the regular filters mentioned above, the application also supports custom filter. Custom filter allows the user to search the entire application database for the given search string.

Another important feature of Melody Droid is to create playlists. The user can create custom playlists (on long press of a selected melody) or they can use the "On The Go" playlist. "On The Go" playlist saves the hassle of creating new playlist, saving it and later deleting it. It gets automatically populated over song selection by the user.

Lastly enjoy the song playback with "playback controls" available over a horizontal swipe.
