A = MOTOR CYCLES
B = LIGHT MOTOR VEHICLES (UP TO 3 500 KG GVM)
C = HEAVY MOTOR VEHICLES
D = COMBINATIONS, INCLUDING ARTICULATED VEHICLES.

To pass the learner's licence test you will need the below sections which are comprehensively covered in the SA Learners Licence App.
Rules of the road;
Road traffic signs, signals and painted road markings, and how the driver should respond to each of them; and
Controls.
Rules of The Road - The rules of the road are there to regulate traffic flow, to ensure safety, and to protect the rights of individual road users. There are rules for speed limits, lane discipline, parking and lights.
Road Signs - These are the various road signs, traffic signals and road surface markings that driver must respond to when driving.
Vehicle Controls - Vehicle controls and instruments are items such as the steering wheel (handlebars for motorcycles), brakes, clutch pedal and accelerator pedal.
