whit – mood & micro routines APP
a whit is the smallest possible amount.
That is what the word means in English, and that is what this is: a short look
inward — how are you right now, and what fed into it. Fifteen seconds. Morning,
evening, and any time something shifts.
A drop, not a questionnaire
You move a slider, and above it a drop changes shape and colour: it lifts when
you are doing well and sinks when you are not. Underneath, a word appears for
exactly that place. Then a second axis — calm, neutral or charged — because
"still" and "wired" are not the same "okay".
After that, if you like: sleep, activity, a few tags, a note. All optional. The
drop on its own is a complete whit.
A few weeks in, whit starts showing you what connects: which people, places and
habits line up with your best days — and with the hard ones. None of it is
graded. It is simply made visible.
Your data stays with you
• No account needed. whit works fully offline, and everything you write stays
on your device.
• If you want to, you create an account voluntarily and your whits sync to the
cloud. Your switch, your call.
• whit has no ads and never will. No advertising IDs, no trackers, and no
measuring of how you use the app.
• Nothing is shared and nothing is sold — not even anonymised.
• Crash reports help me find bugs and improve the app. You can switch them off
whenever you like.
• Everything is exportable, as JSON or CSV. And deleting means deleting.
Why whit is built this way
whit is a personal project, written by one person. No company, no investors, no
growth target — and therefore no reason to run ads or turn the app into a
business. That is not going to change.
There is simply nobody I would owe your data to. That is what all of the above
comes down to.
English and German. Light and dark. A fingerprint lock if you need one.
whit is not a medical product and is no substitute for therapy or counselling.
