AFVID: Armor ID Guide APP

Learn to recognize armored fighting vehicles by shape and feature, by day and through night sights, with a method aligned with publicly released U.S. Army training publications.

Independent app: AFVID is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Army, the Department of Defense, or any government. Its sources are listed at the end, each with a link.

Study tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, personnel carriers and support vehicles in short guided sets, from easier flank views to harder front and rear views, close up and then at range. Recognize the kind of vehicle, identify the model, then decide friend or foe. Each vehicle lists its key features under the six FASTER headings.
