Labberdash GAME
Datacenter.
LabberDash is a comedic idle/tycoon game about secretly building an
absurd Homelab — one Raspberry Pi, one NAS, one suspiciously large
Amazon box at a time — while keeping your spouse none the wiser. Think
Papers, Please meets r/homelab.
WATCH THE SUS METER
Every loud fan, hot server, and unexplained package raises your
spouse's suspicion. Let it climb too high and you'll face a Spouse
Encounter — play your Alibi cards ("it's for work," "it's a tax
write-off") to talk your way out before disaster hits.
MANAGE A REAL POWER BUDGET
Your circuit has real limits. Overload it and you'll trip the breaker,
killing every server at once. Panel upgrades and a Solar tier raise
your headroom — and quietly launder your habit while you're at it.
BUILD AN ABSURD HARDWARE CATALOG
Grow from a single Pi to a full rack: NAS storage, a media server, a
crypto rig, a virtualization host, and more — each individually
upgradeable, each with its own power draw, noise, and Sus cost.
BALANCE THE HOUSE
Not every purchase has to be LabberTech. DomestiTech gear — smart
plugs, video doorbells, robot vacuums — lowers Sus and keeps the peace,
if you're willing to spend Compute on looking responsible.
No pay-to-win, no forced ads, no loot boxes — everything in LabberDash
is earn-able through normal play. Optional in-app purchases and rewarded
video ads are there if you want to speed things up, never because you
have to.
Can you go from one Pi to a full rack without ending up on the couch?
