Ever wonder how much of your city you've actually seen? MapExplorer paints your travelled paths onto the map, turning every walk, run, ride, and drive into a growing picture of the
ground you've covered.

Press Start and go. Your route is drawn live in red as you move, and keeps recording with the screen off or other apps in front. Press Stop and save, the path turns blue and joins your
permanent map of everywhere you've been.

• See your explored distance. Every stretch of ground counted once, alongside your total distance travelled, in miles and kilometers

MARK THE PLACES THAT MATTER
• Drop legends at your location: heart, star, building, binoculars, ferris wheel, dining
• Rename them, drag them to fine-tune their spot, remove them any time

YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
• No account, no sign-in, no cloud: paths and legends live only on your device
• Export everything as plain JSON to your Downloads folder, and import it on a new phone whenever you like
• Optional auto-export keeps an up-to-date backup in Downloads after every change

BUILT TO SIP BATTERY
• While tracking, GPS fixes are batched in the location chip so your processor wakes at most every 30 seconds; no lost points
• When the app is off screen and not tracking, it stops requesting your location entirely
• Adjustable path simplification keeps years of history small and fast

Works on Android 6.0 and newer. Location permission is used only to draw your own paths; nothing ever leaves your phone.
