RPG Maker Pocket is an Android player for compatible MV and MZ games. Import your own game package, organize it in a local library, and play in landscape on your phone or tablet.

Built for JRPGs, story games, horror games, and visual novels created with RPG Maker MV or MZ, RPG Maker Pocket combines local play with customizable touch controls, dialogue
translation, save management, and practical compatibility tools.

KEY FEATURES

- Import your own games
Choose a ZIP archive or an extracted folder containing one compatible Web or Windows deployment. The app validates the package, detects the engine and title, and adds the game to your
library.

- Play MV and MZ games
Run compatible games through a local web runtime with support for game assets and audio playback. Imported game files are stored in the app's private storage.

- Touch controls made for Android
Play in landscape with a D-pad and action buttons. Switch between hidden, basic, and full control layouts, or use the game keyboard when a title needs extra input.

- On-device dialogue translation
Translate supported standard dialogue and choices into your device language and display the result as subtitles. Translation language models are downloaded over Wi-Fi before first use;
translation then runs on device. Subtitle size and background opacity are adjustable.

- Save management
Import or export individual desktop save files, back up all saves as a ZIP archive, and restore the snapshot created before the last import or edit.

- Built-in save editor
For compatible saves, edit gold, character levels, HP, MP, parameter bonuses, and quantities of items, weapons, and armor. Changes are verified before being written.

- Compatibility and recovery tools
The app includes compatibility handling for common web-runtime differences. Reports and recovery options can help when a desktop-oriented plugin causes a startup or script error.

- Ready-to-play sample
A licensed sample game is included so you can test playback and controls before importing your own game.

HOW TO ADD A GAME

1. Tap Add game.
2. Choose a ZIP archive or an extracted game folder.
3. Select a package containing index.html, js, and data.
4. Wait for validation and installation, then select the game from your library.

COMPATIBILITY NOTES

RPG Maker Pocket supports compatible MV and MZ Web or Windows deployments. It does not support project source files, APK files, password-protected ZIP files, 7z or RAR archives, or games
made for XP, VX, or VX Ace.

Some games rely on desktop-only NW.js features, native extensions, or custom plugins that Android cannot provide. Compatibility therefore varies by game. This app is a player for web-
based MV/MZ games, not a console emulator.

You must provide your own legally obtained game packages and have permission to use them. The app does not include, sell, or download third-party commercial games.
