Ball Catcher

Ball Catcher is a simple arcade-style experience focused on movement control, timing, and score building. The player controls a character positioned along the bottom of the screen, while different objects fall from above.

The main objective is to collect useful objects and avoid obstacles. Each collected object increases the score, while every collision with an obstacle reduces one life. The player starts each session with three lives, and the run continues until all lives are lost.

As the game progresses, every decision matters. Positioning becomes increasingly important, as falling objects appear continuously and require quick reactions. Successfully collecting objects increases the score step by step, while avoiding obstacles is essential to extend the session.

The session ends when the player loses all three lives. At that moment, the final score is calculated based on the number of collected objects. Only results greater than zero are saved into records, allowing performance tracking across different sessions.

Ball Catcher is structured around repeatable sessions, where each attempt follows the same rules but produces different outcomes based on object placement and timing. This creates a consistent gameplay loop centered on reaction and precision.

To ensure uninterrupted gameplay, the system automatically pauses when the application is minimized or when the user switches to another app. When returning, a pause state must be closed before continuing the current session.

The design of Ball Catcher emphasizes clarity of rules, simple control, and progressively challenging object patterns, where every successful catch contributes directly to the final result.
