Chairman FC puts you in the chairman's seat at a football club with a leaking clubhouse, a car park that is really just a field, and a town that has not decided whether it cares yet. You do not pick the team. You hire the manager, back them with a budget and a squad, and then you have to live with their decisions.

Everything else is yours.

BUILD THE CLUB
Eight facilities, each growing across eleven levels, from a muddy corner and a first-aid bench to a stadium with a proper stand and a medical wing that gets players back on the pitch faster. Your ground is a development plan you draw on, and every upgrade has an upkeep bill attached.

WIN OVER THE TOWN
Goodwill is a resource, not a score. Run a family day, sponsor the local school, put on a charity match, and the town starts to show up. Neglect it and the money will not save you: sponsors cool, the terraces empty, and a bad run has nothing to cushion it. Every club is founded in a real UK town, and the local businesses you court are shaped by the place you chose.

MIND THE BOOKS
Wages go out every week. Home gates come in five times a season. Your treasurer, who gets a proper office once you can afford one, will tell you exactly how long your runway is. Borrow against the ground and you are putting the ground at risk.

LIVE WITH THE CONSEQUENCES
Players get injured, and a thin squad in the wrong position means an academy graduate gets handed his debut. Sell a homegrown favourite for a good fee and the town remembers. Finish bottom of the bottom division twice and it is over. There is no undo button and no way to buy your way out of trouble.

CLIMB
Four divisions, promotion, relegation, and ground-grading rules that give you two seasons to build a stand worthy of the league you just reached. Sell up when you are done and start again somewhere new, with whatever reputation you have earned following you.
