Cream Drive GAME
The car follows the road by itself. You choose the way at each crossing, accelerate, brake and indicate. Everything else is about reading the road.
WHAT YOU HAVE TO GET RIGHT
• Priority to the right, STOP signs, give way, priority roads, traffic lights, roundabouts — indicate to leave one — zebra crossings, and level crossings with trains that do not stop.
• Speed limits of 30, 50 and 70. One km/h over and you are flashed, with a simplified Belgian fine to match.
• Barakis: souped-up cars with house music blaring, overtaking and braking right in front of you, or blasting through a STOP. Slow down, keep your distance. The horn is for danger, not for temper.
• Fire engines and ambulances under siren. Let them through, even on green.
• Rain and snow, hills and tunnels, ducks, cows, and turtles climbing out of the sewers.
• And now and then, four long-haired lads crossing a zebra in single file, Saint Nicholas on his donkey, the Manneken Pis on a roundabout, or a kangaroo on the road to Wavre.
82 MISSIONS
In invented towns with very Belgian names, including stories told over several episodes with characters who come back. Four difficulty levels, from Easy — some tolerance, and warnings before you are punished — to Extreme, where nothing brakes for you.
Drive by touch, by keyboard, or by tilting the phone: tip it away to accelerate, towards you to brake, and turn it like a wheel to choose your way.
The game speaks French, English and Dutch. Pick one on the title screen, or let it follow the phone.
