Crownwise: Queens Logic Puzzle

Crownwise is a queens puzzle for people who love a clean bit of logic. Place one crown in every row, every column and every colored region, and make sure no two crowns touch, not even at the corners. It sounds simple. The good ones will make you smile when they finally click.

Every puzzle in Crownwise has exactly one solution, and every one of them can be solved by reasoning alone. We check each board with a solver before it ships, so you will never reach a point where guessing is the only way forward.

HOW TO PLAY
Tap a square once to rule it out with an X. Tap it again to place a crown. Drag across the board to mark several squares at once. Each row, column and color region needs exactly one crown, and crowns can never sit next to each other.

HINTS THAT TEACH
Stuck? A hint does more than fill in a square. It shows you the exact row, column or region that matters and tells you why, in plain words: this region only fits in one row, so the other squares in that row can go. After a few hints you will start spotting those moves yourself.
