Dragplay

Dragplay is a free abstract strategy board game. Two sides meet on a 6×7 battlefield, 6 columns by 7 rows. Each side fields 12 characters. Move in a straight line, add up strength, and push the weaker group. A character pushed off the board is a capture. First to 6 captures wins.

There is no dice and no hidden information. You see every strength before you move. The match is decided by the line you build and the direction you swipe.

How a turn works
Every character has a strength from 1 to 5, shown on the piece. Tap one, two, or three of your own characters that already sit in a straight line. Swipe in any of the eight directions to move into open space or to push. Your strength is the sum of the pieces you selected. You push the defenders only when your total is higher than theirs. An equal or lower total bounces back and the turn is lost. Each enemy character that leaves the board scores one capture. The score boxes at the top of the match keep the count. Reach 6 before the other side.

The opening uses the real board, not an empty grid. Your army starts on the bottom two rows. The opponent starts on the top two rows. The rows between you are open, so you can form a line before the first push. Weaker characters often stand in front. Stronger characters hold the row behind them. Use the front line to make contact, then bring strength up when a capture is there.

Vs PC
Play alone against the computer. On your turn a 30-second timer runs. If the timer ends, you lose that turn. When you are stuck, tap Hint. Your pieces light up and one arrow shows a single swipe. If a push can knock an opponent off, that is the move the hint prefers. Hints are limited. An optional rewarded ad can add more. You can skip the ad and keep playing with the hints you already have. Wins against the computer unlock stronger characters for your team and for the opponent. The computer gets harder as those unlocks grow. Open Progress to see what is unlocked.

Vs Person
Two people play on one phone or tablet and pass the device between turns. There is no invite, no room code, and no online match. A local game does not need an account.

On your device only
Wins, unlocks, hint use, and settings stay on the phone. Dragplay does not upload your matches. Progress is not linked to a Google account. Android backup is off. Uninstall the app, or clear its storage in Android settings, and the wins and unlocks are deleted. Install it again and you start from zero. There is nothing for us to restore.

Ads and age
Free to play, with ads. An ad may appear between matches. Rewarded ads for extra hints are optional. Dragplay is for ages 18 and older. It does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or enter your name, email, or phone number.

Dragplay is a short tactical board game you can learn in one match and keep playing as the armies grow. Hold the center, build the stronger line, and aim the push at the rim.
