GIF Mania

Your TV is the game board. GIF Mania is the party game where the perfect GIF wins.

A question appears on the big screen ("Monday morning, summed up"), everyone answers with a GIF from their phone, and the room votes for the best one. Points, a podium, a champion. Nothing to install on the phones.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Open GIF Mania on your TV.
2. On a phone or laptop, go to gifmania.app and create a game (free). The dashboard shows a 6-digit PIN.
3. Type that PIN on the TV with your remote. The TV becomes the big screen for the game.
4. Players join from their phones at gifmania.app/play with the same PIN. No app, no account, just a nickname.
5. Play. The TV shows the questions, the GIF wall, the votes and the scores while everyone plays from their phones.

GOOD TO KNOW
• 3 to 20 players per game. The sweet spot is 5 to 10 people in one room.
• Free to host and play.
• Pick your own questions or let GIF Mania suggest them. In "players write" mode, the room writes the questions in the lobby.
• Kid-friendly GIF filter available when creating a game.
• Games can be played in English, Hebrew, Spanish or Portuguese. The TV app's own screens are in English.
• GIFs are chosen by the players from a filtered GIF library.
• Nobody to play with right now? Press "Watch a demo" and a game plays itself.

THE TV APP
This app is the big-screen view of GIF Mania, made for Android TV and Google TV. It needs an internet connection and, for a real game, a game created at gifmania.app. Everything is driven with the remote: arrows and OK to type the PIN, Back to go back. It never opens the on-screen keyboard.
