Glory block quest GAME
Each level features a unique glowing shape that must be completely filled. Select one of the available pieces and tap the board to place it. A block can only be placed if all its spaces are within the target shape and do not overlap any already placed pieces.
Rotation is a key part of Glory Block Quest. Selected pieces can be rotated in four directions, allowing the same block to fit in different areas of the shape. A preview on the board shows where the selected piece will appear before confirming its placement.
Correct placements increase your score and combos. Consecutive blocks are awarded increasingly higher points, so solving a shape effectively leads to a higher score. The points awarded also increase as you progress through levels.
Incorrect placement has consequences. If a block doesn't fit inside the required shape, you lose one life and the current combo is reset. If you run out of lives, the current attempt ends.
Glory Block Quest also features an Undo feature. If you notice that a correct placement has left other pieces in an awkward position, you can return the last placed block to the panel. The points earned for it will be deducted, after which you can try a different placement.
Each puzzle has a timer. If the timer runs out before completing a shape, you lose one life and the combo is reset. While lives remain, you are given extra time to continue. This adds a time limit but doesn't immediately complete an unfinished level.
The game features 16 shapes, including Square, Corner, Plus, Steps, Arrow, Diamond, Window, Crown, Temple, Spiral, Gatehouse, and Monument. As you progress, the puzzles become larger and consist of more individual pieces.
Glory Block Quest offers three difficulty levels: Easy, Medium, and Hard. On Easy, the game starts with eight lives and allows more time to solve each puzzle. Medium starts with six lives, and Hard starts with four lives, allows less time, and uses a higher score multiplier.
In Easy mode, placement hints for the selected block are also available. Possible squares are highlighted when the block can be correctly placed in that spot, helping you understand how different shapes and rotations interact with the target block.
Completing a block earns bonus points, the amount of which depends in part on the remaining time. After every fourth completed level, you can also restore one life if your current life is below the maximum.
During play, Glory Block Quest displays your current score, your best score, your remaining lives, the level, the block name, and the time. Your best score is saved between play sessions, allowing you to return and improve your personal best.
As the blocks become more complex, planning the placement order becomes increasingly important. Larger shapes offer more options for block placement, so it's helpful to assess the remaining space before each move. Different rotation options can completely change a piece's suitable position, prompting you to consider several solutions before each move. A limited time, a limited number of lives, and gradually more complex shapes make each new puzzle a test of attention and planning.
Glory Block Quest combines simple controls with gradually more challenging spatial puzzles. Rotate pieces, explore empty spaces, correct placements with Undo when necessary, maintain combos, keep an eye on the timer, and collect all 16 shapes.
