五大 Godai — Duel of the Five Elements

Sit across the table and build. 五大 Godai is a two-player card duel about patience, sequencing, and knowing when to walk away from a losing path.

THE ELEMENTS
Sixty cards, five suits — Earth 地, Water 水, Fire 火, Wind 風, Void 空 — numbered 2 through 10, plus three Blessing cards per element. You're dealt eight cards and you keep eight all game: every turn is play or discard, then draw.

HOW A ROUND PLAYS
Start a path with any card, then keep it climbing — cards on a path must always ascend. Blessings supercharge a path, but they have to be committed before any numbered card lands on it. When you discard, it feeds a shrine; you can draw from the deck or from any shrine except the one you just fed, so every discard is a small gift to your opponent — or bait. The round ends the instant the last card leaves the deck.

SCORING IS THE GAME
Starting a path costs you 20 points, so an abandoned path bleeds you dry. Push a path past 20 and it turns a profit — the more numbers you stack, the better, and a path of 8 or more cards earns a bonus. Blessings multiply whatever the path ends up worth, for better or worse. Read the shrines, guess what your opponent is building, and decide whether to keep feeding your own paths or start hunting theirs.

TWO WAYS TO PLAY
• Pass-and-play — hand the device across the table for a real face-to-face duel.
• Vs AI — three different opponents, each with its own way of reading the board.

Matches run 1 or 3 rounds, so a duel is over in minutes but rewards the same instincts every time.
