GreenBox Track APP
During reconnaissance, crews drive the special stages on open roads before the rally. Sporting regulations limit their speed, the number of runs on each stage and the direction of travel. GreenBox Track records the car's position once per second and lets the organiser check those rules afterwards with an infringement report.
HOW IT WORKS
• The organiser creates the event on the GreenBox portal and gives each car a race key.
• The crew enters the key in the app, which downloads stages, speed limits and event settings.
• The crew taps START at the beginning of reconnaissance and STOP at the end. Recording continues with the screen off; a persistent notification shows it is active.
• Recorded sessions are transferred automatically to the organiser's server over an encrypted connection.
FOR THE CREW
• Current speed and applicable limit always on screen.
• Audible warning when the limit is exceeded.
• Clear recording status, readable at a glance by an event marshal.
• Receiver quality check: the app measures the satellite signal of the phone during every session and shows the result.
• Optional OK/SOS signals and Race Direction messages, when the organiser enables them.
FOR THE ORGANISER
• Infringement report covering overspeeding on stages, excess runs and reverse runs.
• Every recorded session is protected by a cryptographic chain, so any later alteration can be detected.
• Data export in CSV format.
PRIVACY
The position is recorded only between START and STOP. The app does not access contacts, photos, microphone or camera, and the data is never used for advertising. See the privacy policy for details.
A race key from the event organiser is required. To try the app, enter the key DEMO: it loads a demonstration event that works offline, and demo sessions are never transmitted.
