Hedgehush: Logic Puzzle

Hedge & Seek! Dusk is settling over a quiet Nordic garden neighbourhood, and the hedgehogs are out looking for a place to rest. Help Maud, a retired neighbour with a lantern and a soft spot for hedgehogs, find every one of them a home.

HOW TO PLAY
Each garden is a grid divided into coloured flower beds. Place exactly one hedgehog in every row, every column and every bed. Hedgehogs like their own space, so no two may touch, not even diagonally.

• Tap a spot once to mark it with a cross, tap again to place a hedgehog.
• Drag across the garden to mark many crosses at once.
• Automatic crosses show every spot a new hedgehog rules out (you can turn them off).
• A wrong hedgehog curls up and costs a leaf. Lose all three leaves and the hedgehogs hide away, but you can always try again.

PURE LOGIC, NO GUESSING
Every garden has exactly one solution and can be solved by careful reasoning alone. Small practice gardens teach the rules with a few hedgehogs already home; larger gardens ask for sharper deductions as you go.

HINTS THAT EXPLAIN
Stuck? A hint lights up the flower bed or line that matters and tells you why in one short sentence, so you learn the trick instead of just getting the answer. Undo takes back crosses you did not mean to paint.

Painted gardens, warm window light, garden lamps and a night-garden soundscape. Maud coaches you through each garden, and Bramble, a grumpy-sweet hedgehog who insists on personal space, has opinions about how it went.
