Network Tools Pro - Ping, WiFi APP
Every tool that answers in one run is free, with no limits on runs or devices. Wake on LAN, the DNS changer and monitoring come with Premium, a one-time purchase.
FREE TOOLS
■ LAN scanner
Lists computers, phones, printers, TVs and NAS on your network with name, maker and type, also via mDNS (Bonjour), SSDP (UPnP) and NetBIOS for devices that ignore ping. New devices get a badge, missing ones are listed, and you can add names and notes. Tap one to ping it, scan its ports or open it in a browser.
■ Ping (ICMP, TCP, HTTP)
Response time, jitter and packet loss, also over TCP or HTTP. Continuous mode graphs the trend and rates your connection.
■ DNS lookup and comparison
13 record types (A, MX, CAA, DNSKEY and more) and reverse lookup via your device's DNS, public DNS, DoH, DoT or a custom server. "Compare DNS" lines up answers and speed from major public resolvers.
■ Connection info
Wi-Fi name, signal and channel, your IP, gateway, DNS, Private DNS setting, and public IP and provider (optional).
■ Wi-Fi analyzer
Nearby networks with signal, channel and security, a channel congestion graph and the quietest 2.4 GHz channel.
■ Traceroute
Every hop with response time and owner (AS number), to see where delay starts.
■ Port scanner
Open TCP ports with service names and banners: common, well-known, all or custom ports. Only use it on devices you own or are allowed to test.
■ Whois
A domain's registrant, expiry and name servers, or an IP's owner, from the right registry.
■ Website check
Status code, redirects, response time, SSL certificate and headers, even for http router pages.
■ IP calculator
IPv4 network, broadcast, usable range, host count and subnets, plus IPv6 prefixes.
■ Save and share
Save, share or copy results; reuse recent targets.
PREMIUM (ONE-TIME PURCHASE)
■ Wake on LAN
Turn on a PC with one tap; a ping confirms it woke. Wake several at once or from outside, with SecureOn passwords and home screen shortcuts.
■ DNS changer (no root)
Change the DNS for every app without root: a major public DNS, including family filters, or your own server, encrypted with DoH where supported. Exclude apps, auto-on after reboot, Quick Settings tile, recent queries, speed test.
■ Monitoring and alerts
Checks saved hosts every 15 min, 30 min, 1 h or 3 h and alerts you when one goes down, comes back or slows down, or a new device joins your home Wi-Fi.
■ More
Custom-range LAN scans (up to /16), finding devices by port, CSV export and color themes. Light, dark and system themes are free.
Premium is not a subscription: buy once and keep it. Before buying, the app shows how to set up Wake on LAN and when the DNS changer can't work.
USE CASES
• Wi-Fi on but nothing loads: check gateway and DNS, then ping your router and a website to see where it stops.
• Slow internet: watch jitter and loss with continuous ping, then traceroute to find where delay starts.
WHO IT'S FOR
• Anyone fixing a slow or dropped connection
• Anyone curious who's on their Wi-Fi
• Students and IT pros
PERMISSIONS
• Location: Android requires it to read Wi-Fi names. Location itself is not used or stored.
• Notifications: only for monitoring and DNS changer status.
• VPN: the DNS changer uses Android's VPN only to receive DNS queries. No other traffic goes through it.
• Results stay on your device. No account needed.
NOTES
• From Android 10, apps can't read other devices' MAC addresses; MAC and maker appear only if a device announces them.
• Sleeping devices, guest Wi-Fi or firewalls may hide some devices.
• Android allows 4 Wi-Fi scans every 2 minutes.
• Android sets when monitoring runs, so checks may be late while the phone is idle.
