Kith: Daily Logic Puzzle

Kith is a quiet daily logic puzzle built on two rules and nothing else.

YOUR KIN is the outlined group you belong to. A kin of five holds 1 to 5, a kin of three holds 1 to 3. No number twice in the same kin.

YOUR KITH is every cell you touch — sides and corners both. No number may sit beside its own kind.

That is all of it. No arithmetic. No row or column rules. Every grid has exactly one answer and can be reached by reasoning alone, so you will never have to guess.

MONDAY IS GENTLE, SUNDAY YOU SIT DOWN FOR The puzzle is seeded by the date, so everyone gets the same grid on the same day. It stiffens through the week — a couple of minutes on Monday, a proper sit-down by Sunday.

THE LINE When you close a kin, its inner walls dissolve and a line draws itself through the cells in order. The group stops being a patch of colour and becomes a figure you can read. Finish the grid and the eight lines join into one continuous route.

SHARE YOUR ROUTE, NOT YOUR ANSWERS Finishing gives you a card showing the order you closed the eight kin — a path that is unique to how you solved it and gives away no digits. Two people can compare routes without spoiling a thing.

HELP, NOT PENALTIES Stuck? A hint names the move that is available and tells you why, rather than handing you a number. Pencil marks, undo, and a keypad that counts down the digits you have left are all there when you want them.

KEEP YOUR STREAK Solve each day to build a streak, with one repair a month to bridge a day you genuinely could not get to. Your record, your times, and every puzzle you have finished are kept in the archive.

BUILT TO BE LEFT ALONE No account. No sign-in. No ads. No analytics. Kith makes no network requests at all — puzzles and fonts ship inside the app, so it works on a plane, in a tunnel, and anywhere else. Nothing you do in it leaves your phone.
