Lethio Macro Tracker APP
If you live in one of those thirteen countries, your country's table comes first, in your own language, under the names your shops use: Matvaretabellen in Norway, BEDCA in Spain, CoFID in the United Kingdom, USDA FoodData Central in the United States, and the tables of Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Portugal, Sweden and Switzerland.
For packaged food, 376,048 branded products from Open Food Facts are included, so a barcode scan resolves on the phone with no network involved. 416,179 foods in all, every one of them on the device. Search works on a plane, in a basement, on a train through a tunnel.
What it does
• Diary by day, with protein, fat and carbohydrate against your targets
• Log by weight, by volume, or by a named portion the food already carries
• Barcode scanning, offline
• Your own foods, which always rank above anything bundled
• Daily targets you set yourself, or estimated from your height, weight and activity
• Eight languages, with food names in your own where the table has them
• Dark theme, following your system setting
• Every text size follows your system setting, and colour is never the only way anything is labelled
• CSV export of everything you have logged
Free, no account
There is no sign-up, no email, no password and no subscription. There is no paid tier and there is not going to be one. Nothing in the app is held back, and nothing you log is sold or profiled.
Privacy
No account, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no ad network, no advertising identifier. Your diary is a file on your phone and nothing uploads it. Two optional features can reach the network, both off until you turn them on in Settings: asking Open Food Facts about a barcode the phone does not recognise, and contributing a product you add so the next person who scans it finds it. The full policy is at https://macros.lethio.com/#privacy
Requires Android 8 or later.
