Keep the proof, dates and notes for a purchase together before you need them.

ProofStash is a free, local-first warranty and return tracker. Add a product name now, then keep the retailer, brand, category, purchase date, price, order or receipt number, model or serial number, return-by date, written warranty end date, tags and notes with the same record.

When a return or warranty issue arises, ProofStash helps you organise what happened:

- copy a PDF, image or text proof file into local app storage
- record the issue or return reason
- work through a private claim-readiness checklist
- add dated notes for calls, emails, visits and outcomes
- mark an item active, returned, exchanged, claim open, resolved or archived
- see upcoming return and warranty deadlines together
- review local totals and category insights

Optional notifications can remind you before the dates you entered. Choose a return lead time of 1, 3, 7 or 14 days and a warranty lead time of 7, 30, 60 or 90 days.

Your records are portable by choice. Export a CSV, share a readable text summary, or create and restore a versioned JSON backup through your device's share and document controls. The JSON backup does not copy the contents of attached proof files, so keep separate copies of important originals.

No account or developer cloud database is required. Purchase records and proof files are designed to remain on your device unless you choose an export destination. Support and privacy links open in your browser.

Every functional feature is free. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases, trials or paid-only tools. When dedicated advertising is enabled, consent is handled before ad requests. Ads are kept away from purchase entry, proof review and claim preparation. An optional rewarded ad changes a temporary colour accent only.

ProofStash organises user-entered information. It does not verify a warranty, determine claim eligibility or provide legal, product-safety or warranty advice. Written warranty dates do not determine all consumer-law rights. Check dates and processes with the seller or provider and consult current official guidance where relevant.
