WallLife turns your wallpaper into something that responds to you. Build sets of photos, GIFs and videos, then switch between them with a gesture — no need to open the app.

Each gesture is a separate switch, and you choose which playlist it opens.

Add anything from your gallery. Videos play with sound and loop smoothly. A built-in editor lets you crop to the exact area you want, rotate, and trim video to just the seconds you like — all before it becomes your wallpaper.

DEPTH: WALLPAPER THAT MOVES WHEN YOU TILT

Mark the subject in one of your own photos and WallLife splits it into two layers. Tilt the phone and the subject shifts against its background, so the picture has real depth instead of looking flat. Paint the subject with your finger, or let your phone find it for you and touch up the edges.

A CHARACTER ON YOUR HOME SCREEN

An optional companion sits at the edge of your wallpaper, changes expression, and greets you when you unlock. Comes with one character built in; Premium lets you load your own artwork and write your own lines.

LIGHT ON BATTERY

Everything freezes when the screen is off or another app is fullscreen — no rendering, no sensors, no wallpaper switching. Sensors are only active for the gestures you actually turned on. Rendering runs on the GPU so video stays sharp without draining the battery.

YOUR PHOTOS STAY ON YOUR PHONE

No account, no sign-up. Your images are read from your own storage and are never uploaded anywhere. WallLife uses a network connection for three things only: ads in the free version, checking your subscription status with Google Play, and downloading the subject-detection model from Google Play services the first time you use it. Everything else works offline.

A NOTE ON COMPATIBILITY
Sensor gestures depend on the hardware in your phone, and some manufacturers restrict what background apps are allowed to do. If a gesture does not respond, check that the app is excluded from battery optimisation. On Xiaomi devices you may also need to enable Autostart. The tap-the-screen gesture depends on your launcher passing taps to the wallpaper, so it does not work on every device — the Quick Settings tile always does.
