Palliation i praksis

Palliation in practice is based on a clinical guideline for general practice. The purpose is to provide tools and guidance for palliative care at the basic level. The guide is aimed at general practitioners, but may also be relevant to hospital doctors, home nurses and other health professionals. The guidelines emphasize that palliative care is about everyone with life-threatening illnesses and includes all patients with palliative needs, regardless of the underlying diagnosis. However, the available evidence is largely based on cancer patients.
