Save Recording to keep the audio locally as a voice memo, or Generate AI Note to turn the recording into a structured note.

Recording does not automatically trigger AI processing.

Use the built-in voice recorder to capture audio with recording controls, pause and resume, duration tracking and audio playback.

Use Smart Summary for meetings, lectures, classes, interviews, brainstorming, personal reminders and everyday voice notes.

Save your recording without AI:

Sometimes you only need the audio. Choose Save Recording after you stop to keep it as a local voice memo without sending it for AI processing.

Turn recordings into structured AI notes:

Choose Generate AI Note when you want more from a recording. Smart Summary can generate:

The result is organized into a structured note instead of leaving you with only a long transcript.

Ask AI about your notes:

Use Ask AI or AI Chat to ask questions about an existing note.

For example:

* Summarize this meeting in three points.

Ask questions about your notes instead of manually searching through the transcript.

Capture action items:

Smart Summary can identify actionable tasks mentioned in a recording. Extracted information can include the task, person, due date, priority and completion status.

Keep the original audio:

AI-generated notes retain their associated recording. Read the summary and structured information, then play the original audio when you want to hear the source again.

Find saved information with note search, pinned notes, tags, note types and categories. Review previous meetings, lectures, conversations and voice memos without manually browsing through every recording.

The Free plan includes 30 AI audio minutes per month.

This allowance applies to AI processing, not recording.

Record 10 minutes → Save Recording = 0 AI minutes used.

Record 10 minutes → Generate AI Note = the processed recording counts toward your AI usage allowance.

AI usage is based on processed recording duration and is accounted for in whole-minute increments.

Smart Notes Pro provides expanded AI usage according to the available subscription entitlement.
