In-Play FOOTBALL MANAGER GAME
The season D·E·S·K were at their very best — and still the title got away.
You take the job with half the season already gone.
Whether you can climb the one step they couldn't: that's the whole game.

■ DESK — why this game starts here
Delvin Arden · Erik Sench · Song Ho-Bin · Kevin Harris.
If you remember that club in those years, four letters is all it takes.
How you use them decides the season. The rounds left are fixed and the
points gap is already there. From here it's on you.
■ Twenty-two players, each making their own call, in real time
This isn't a simulation that only computes a result. Every player has his own
vision, decision-making and preferred foot, and picks his pass, his shooting
angle and his tackling moment accordingly. Ninety minutes, in 3D, all the way.
■ Orders from the touchline, while the match is running
When the game turns, change the press, the attack, the width and the tempo on the spot,
rally the side or send everyone forward. Make substitutions at a dead ball.
If a man is sent off, rebuild the side with ten.
■ Tactics in two layers — the team, and the man
Individual roles sit on top of your team shape (attacking, balanced, defensive).
The same 4-3-3 plays like a different side depending on who you push forward.
Save the combinations you trust as presets and pull the right one out for each opponent.
■ A three-season career
Your career runs for three seasons from the day you take over. Season 1 is the 12 rounds
of the second half; seasons 2 and 3 are 24 rounds each. Short on purpose - every match
moves the table.
■ Five ways to watch
Broadcast, cinematic, top-down, and from behind either goal.
Go overhead to read the shape; drop behind the goal for the finish.
■ Every match leaves a report
Not just the score and the scorers, but where your plan worked, where it was
opened up, and how to approach the next opponent. The other results from the
same round come with it.
■ A squad that lives
Players age, improve, and fall away. Form rises and dips; they pick up injuries
and suspensions. A shot struck with the wrong foot really does go in less often.
■ One line in a press conference moves the dressing room
What you say before kick-off shifts your squad's morale.
■ Save the moment, watch it again
Keep the goals you love as replays and pull them up any time.
■ Korean · English · Traditional Chinese · Spanish · French · German · Japanese · Italian · Arabic · Thai
■ Built for landscape, and for one-handed play
