The RSSB Rule Book app is directly linked to the only official rail industry Rule Book. Available for smartphones and tablets, the app is fully responsive to your device and offers a range of enhanced features, including:

• Customised Rule Book: Tailor your Rule Book to your specific job role.
• Offline access: Access job-related content even when you’re offline.
• Automatic updates: Receive, view, and acknowledge Future Amendments directly on your device.

Getting started with the Rule Book app
1. Download the app to your device, register using your work email address, and log in.
2. Once logged in, you’ll be prompted to add (download) the Modules and Handbooks relevant to your job role to ‘My Rule Book’. These will be accessible offline, so you won’t need to worry about staying connected.
3. To view your downloaded content, simply click on the ‘My Rule Book’ tab, then tap the eye icon. From there, you can navigate through the documents and add notes specific to your job.
4. Need to find something quickly? Use the search function at the top of the screen to locate specific content across any document.
5. When Amendments are made, they’ll be automatically downloaded to your device when connected to Wi-Fi. You can view both current and upcoming content within the app. Once new amendments take effect, they’ll seamlessly replace the old content, ensuring you always have the most up-to-date information at your fingertips.
