Sea Duel – Sink the Fleet GAME
AN OPPONENT THAT HUNTS
The machine fires blindly until something connects, then works outwards from that hit until the ship goes down. It never reads your board — it knows only the answers to its own shots. Three levels: Easy never follows up a hit, Normal works outwards from one, and Hard searches a chequerboard no ship can hide in.
THREE WAYS TO PLAY
• Against the machine.
• Two players on one phone, passed back and forth between turns. A hand-over screen covers the board so nobody reads over the other's shoulder.
• Against another device: on the same Wi-Fi, over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct, or across the internet.
YOUR FLEET, YOUR LAYOUT
Place all five ships by hand, turn them between horizontal and vertical, take the last one back — or let chance decide. Ships are drawn as hulls rather than rows of blocks, with damage on the sections that have been hit. A sinking ship lists to one side and slides under.
HIGH SCORES
Played, won, lost and win rate, plus the ten best wins ranked by how few shots they took. A game in progress survives closing the app — the machine even remembers which ship it was chasing.
PLAYABLE WITHOUT SEEING IT
Every square announces where it is and what is on it. The newest line of the message log is read out as it arrives.
NO ADS, NO ACCOUNTS, NO TRACKING
Scores and settings stay on the device. There is no sign-in, no analytics and no server of the developer's. The app holds network permissions only because two devices can play each other — against the machine, nothing leaves the phone.
A game across the internet needs a relay of your own: one small Python file, published at djvlk.de/seaduel/relay/. On the same Wi-Fi and over Bluetooth none is needed.
German and English, switchable inside the app, independent of the phone's language. Light and dark. Android 7.0 and up.
