Sefer Yetzirah: Letters

Sefer Yetzirah, the Book of Formation, describes the world as formed through thirty-two wondrous paths of wisdom: ten sefirot and the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet.

In the Letter Cosmos the letters orbit in three rings: the three mothers, the seven doubles and the twelve simples. Tap any letter to read what the book assigns to it: elements, planets, constellations, months, faculties. Join letters on the wheel of the 231 gates. See how the book itself counts its thirty-two paths. Sit with a single letter in a three-phase contemplation: gaze, sound, stillness.
