Trentuno – Italian Card Game GAME
Neapolitan deck. It is quick, sharp, and built on a single decision you
make over and over: take a card, or end the round.
Every player starts with three lives and three cards. On your turn you
draw from the deck or take the face-up card from the discard pile, then
throw one away. You are building a hand of one suit — twos through
sevens are worth face value, court cards ten, and the Ace eleven.
When you think your hand is strong enough, you knock. That starts the
last lap: everyone else gets one final turn, then all hands are shown.
The lowest hand loses a life. Lose all three and you are out.
And then there is Trentuno itself — two court cards and the Ace of the
same suit, thirty-one exactly. Get it and every other player loses a
life at once.
