Underice Drone

Underice Drone is a resonance-scanning action game set beneath polar ice sheets. You pilot a compact research drone through freezing underwater channels, using phased-array sonar to reveal hidden fish and catalog them through a unique echo-lock mechanic.


Unlike typical avoidance games, light is your instrument. Sonar pulses temporarily expose species and hazards in the dark, but cataloging a fish requires sustained resonance lock: holding position within the echo radius while the onboard AI builds a spectral fingerprint. Rare Glowfin Lanterns demand longer locks and reward far greater research value.


Six structured expeditions assign depth targets, scan quotas, and time limits, while Endless Dive scales obstacle density for high-score runs. Between dives, the Fish Codex unlocks species profiles, Arctic Intel delivers field research on drone technology and ice ecology, and achievements track mastery across depth, scans, and collision-free runs.
