Customers of Versicherungskammer Bayern with comprehensive health insurance (with or without supplementary benefits) have access to their electronic patient record (ePA) via the innovative "My ePA Manager" app. They can also conveniently use the e-prescription and online check-in.

Our "My ePA Manager" was developed in accordance with the legal provisions of the Patient Data Protection Act and meets the German government's requirements for secure and efficient digitalization in the healthcare sector.

The app offers you these advantages:

Electronic patient record – your health companion: You can view and manage your ePA and access medical documents such as findings, doctor's reports, and medication plans.

E-prescription – receive medication easily and quickly: You receive prescriptions digitally in the app and can conveniently redeem them by sending the prescription to a pharmacy of your choice and picking up the medication there. You can see your current and past prescriptions clearly at a glance in the app.

Online Check-In – Seamlessly organize your doctor's appointments: You can submit your personal data to the doctor before your appointment so they can issue you an e-prescription and upload documents to your electronic patient record (ePA).

Necessary preparations:

To use the app, you need your health insurance number (KVNR), health ID, and the PIN from your national identity card for the online identification function.

1. The health insurance number (KVNR) is the unique, digital, and lifelong identification number of an insured person. You can request this number in the app.

2. You can easily obtain your health ID in the app. This requires your national identity card and its corresponding PIN.

3. The PIN for your national identity card is necessary for the online identification function. You will receive this PIN in a separate letter when you receive your ID card. Have you lost your PIN? Please contact the issuing authority.
