Which Thread First? GAME
— Elias Wren
Someone embroidered this picture. Your job is to take it apart, one thread
at a time.
Every thread has an arrow at one end, and it shows the one direction that
thread can leave. Tap it and the thread slips out of the canvas — but only
if nothing stands between it and the edge. Something almost always does.
So the picture isn't a pile of threads. It's an order, and finding it is
the good part. Free the one thread that can move and the next one opens up
behind it. The embroidery comes apart in your hands, stitch by stitch, and
the canvas underneath is never the same twice.
The whole game is one question, asked more than a hundred different ways:
which thread first?
🧵 HOW TO PLAY
➡️ Find a thread whose arrow has a clear run to the edge of the canvas
👆 Tap it — the thread unwinds stitch by stitch and slides off the fabric
🧠 That clears the way for the next one, so plan the order
❤️ A blocked pull costs one of your three hearts
💡 Stuck? A hint will point at a thread that can move right now
