On Alterind, you don't need to create a second account just to be honest. Feel free to write under your own name. When you don't want to be seen, turn on Anonymous Mode — per post, per comment — and your name and photo disappear from view. One account, two sides of you, without switching apps.

WHY PEOPLE STAY HERE

You can be honest without a second thought. Posts in Anonymous Mode can't be traced back to you by other users, so you can share about work, family, or things you've always kept to yourself.

No phone number needed. Just register with your email. No contacts scanned, no people suddenly recommended to you.

Know what's happening around you, without revealing your location. The Near Me feed only shows a distance range like "< 2 km" to other users, never your exact location. And the feature only works if you turn it on.

Meet someone you connect with. Communities have their own feeds and rules, so conversations about specific topics don't get lost in the crowd.

It's a space you can protect. Block and mute options are available on every profile, and there's a report button on every post, comment, and image. Posts marked sensitive are closed until you open them.
