Fireside Words: Word Game

Fireside Words is a classic crossword-style word game set by a warm fireside on a winter evening: a dark walnut board, ivory letter tiles, a mug of cocoa, a knitted blanket and the glow of the fire. Build words on a 15 × 15 board, use the bonus squares and beat four charming opponents. Play at your own pace, with no timers and no internet needed.

HOW TO PLAY
• Make words on the board with your seven letter tiles, crossword style
• Letter and word bonus squares multiply your points; using all seven tiles in one move earns +40
• Drag your tiles, or tap a letter and then a square; zoom the board with two fingers or a double tap
• Blank tiles can be any letter; swap tiles or pass when you are stuck

FOUR FIRESIDE OPPONENTS, ALL AI
Mia the kitten (Easy), Rufus the fox (Medium), Bruno the bear (Hard) and Professor Hoot the owl (Master). They are clearly marked as AI characters, never presented as real people. Beat each one for the first time to earn their badge. You can have a game going with each of them, and every move is saved.

FAIR TILES YOU CAN VERIFY
Every game starts from a sealed bag. Its seal, a SHA-256 fingerprint, is shown when the game begins; the seed is revealed when it ends, so the bag can be checked. Your opponent draws from the same bag, never sees your letters and never knows which tiles come next. If a word is not in the dictionary there is no penalty: just try another one.

THE DAILY PUZZLE
The same board and the same seven letters for everyone in the world each day. Find the highest-scoring move, try as often as you like and keep your daily streak burning.
