Ludo — the classic board game you grew up with, built to be simple, fast and completely free.
Play against the computer, or pass the phone around and play with friends. No account, no sign-up, no internet needed.
WHAT YOU GET
• Play with Computer — three levels: Easy, Medium and Hard. Easy is gentle for beginners. Hard actually plans ahead: it guards its tokens, hunts yours, and knows when to run for home.
• Play with Friends — 2, 3 or 4 players sharing one phone. Give each seat its own name, colour and avatar; the game remembers them for next time.
• Your house rules — Classic (4 tokens each) or Quick (2 tokens each), or any number from 1 to 4. Open the yard on a six only, or on a 1 or a 6. Switch the extra turn on a six, on a capture and on reaching home on or off. Decide whether an exact roll is needed to finish. Add a turn timer (15, 30 or 60 seconds) or leave it off.
• Four board themes — Midnight, Dune, Ocean and Candy — all included, nothing to unlock. Light or dark, or follow your phone's setting.
• English and Hindi — switch any time from Settings.
• Works completely offline — on a train, on a flight, in a village with no signal. The game never needs a connection.
• No sign-up, and it asks for no permissions at install. Open the app and play. We never ask for your name, number or email.
• Continue where you left off — close the app mid-game and your board is exactly where you left it.
• Track your record — games played and won, win rate, best win streak, tokens captured, sixes rolled and your results against each computer level, with nine achievements to earn and your last twelve games listed.
CLASSIC RULES, PLAYED PROPERLY
Roll a six to bring a token out. Roll a six and go again — but three sixes in a row and you lose your turn. Land on an opponent to send them all the way back. Star squares keep you safe. And you need the exact number to get home, so the last step is always the hardest. (How the yard opens, the extra turns and the exact finish are all yours to change under Rule variants.)
