WhereTo is a travel app that does things a little differently. Most travel apps ask which airport you're flying into, show you hotels around it, then surprise you in the cart with fees and add-ons.

We're turning that on its head. You tell us when you want to go, how much you want to spend, and most importantly your Vibes (what you want to do and experience). Then our Vibe Engine goes to work and hands you back a list of destinations, not airports, that match your criteria. Every one of them is scored on what YOU'RE looking for. Santorini might be a 94 for you and a 77 for someone else.

HOW IT WORKS
Tell us your budget range, dates, home airport, and who's coming.

Then the fun part: pick your vibes. We've mapped and scored more than 12k of them across 900+ places worldwide. Don't worry, we don't expect you to sift through all 12k. You'll pick from a set of categories; each one opens into 5 to 12 vibes. Just tap the ones you like. The Vibe Engine goes through all 12k+ and finds what matches.

What comes back is a set of destinations, each scored individually for you: your vibes, your dates, your home airport, your budget. If you're curious, every destination shows you the math on how it scored.

Found the right one? Book it. Each destination comes with a suggested flight and hotel package that fits your budget. Don't like the hotel we picked? No problem, we show you all the other hotels and flights as well. Taxes and fees are already in the price you see. No surprises at checkout, ; we hate that too.

Never heard of a destination we suggest? We figured, so we researched for you. Every one of the 900+ destinations has a short blog, about 1,000 words. We also break down which part of the world it's in and show you every vibe that matches. And yes, because we're nerds, we scored all of those too and cited sources.

SOUNDS COMPLICATED?
Honestly, it was for us. But we made sure it isn't for you. We broke how people travel into four types:

* Don't know or care where you go, but know what you want to do? WhereTo Discover is for you.
* Know you want the Caribbean but not which island? WhereTo Explore is your go-to.
* Already know it's Santa Barbara, CA? WhereTo Direct takes you straight there.
* Girls' beach trip or a family getaway? This is where Wander Together shines.

All four work the same way: budget, dates, and vibes in, and scored destinations out.

PLANNING A GROUP TRIP?
Group trips usually go like this: someone suggests a trip, everyone gets excited, and 50 group messages later nothing is settled. Wander Together was built to solve that. Someone creates the trip, sets a per-person budget, and invites the people they want to travel with. Everyone picks their own vibes, then the Vibe Engine collects them, finds where they overlap, and returns destinations that match what everyone wants to do. Each is scored on the group's collective vibes.

From there, everyone votes, comments, and tags with emojis. Once the destination is settled, you vote on the hotel. One person pays for the whole group, each member pays their own way, or some mix of the two. That part is up to your group.

The only thing we sell you is a trip. No banners, no sponsored results, and no hotel or airline paying to sit higher on your list. Your information is not for sale.
