are jointly operating the 'Smartphone Safe Return Home Service'. In addition, Anyang City is collaborating with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport/Ministry of Justice to identify if there are sex offenders wearing electronic anklets around based on location information in emergency situations, enabling a quicker response to crisis situations.

< Safe Return Home App Description >

1. If you are on your way home from work or school late at night, or in a situation where there are few people or you feel dangerous, run the application in advance.

2. Then, the user's GPS location information is transmitted to the registered guardian and the local government's crime prevention CCTV center, and if you shake your smartphone or press the emergency button in an emergency situation, this service allows monitoring using nearby crime prevention CCTV and dispatching the police.

※ Depending on the characteristics of the area (indoors, underground, around tall buildings, etc.), this service may not display the user's location information or may have differences in accuracy due to poor smartphone GPS reception.

※ In addition, in unavoidable situations such as when there is no CCTV nearby or a system failure occurs, SOS situation recognition and real-time response may be difficult, and we inform you that we are not legally responsible for this. To this end, please confirm the safety of your family by registering as a guardian after downloading the Safe Return app and signing up for membership.

※ Users can allow the following permissions to use the Safe Return service smoothly. Each permission is divided into mandatory permissions that must be allowed and optional permissions that can be allowed selectively depending on its properties.
1. Required access permissions
1) Location: Access is required to search for current location, route guidance, nearby CCTV, and police stations.
2) Storage: Access is required to save app data and resources.
3) Phone: Access is required to call 112, 119, and local government security CCTV centers. In addition, in emergency situations, local government security CCTV centers and police officers need to collect the user's phone number to check the user's status.

2. Optional access rights
1) Photo album: Access is required to upload the user's profile photo.
2) Address book: Access is required to collect the guardian's contact information in emergency situations.

◉ Personal information collection guide
Anyang Safe Return App collects the subscriber's phone number and guardian's contact information when signing up to safely protect citizens from crime and accidents.

When a user requests service, the control center contacts the reporter with the collected phone number in the presence of a resident police officer to quickly identify the emergency situation or identifies the user's location using the location information system (GPS).

When a user requests service, a text message service is provided to the registered guardian's contact information.
Anyang Safe Return App does not use personal information in any case other than when the user requests service.
