【About Cherry Blossom Growth】 Flower buds are the initial stage of cherry blossoms, forming in the summer of the year before blooming. They undergo dormancy, awakening (breaking dormancy), and growth stages before finally blooming.
After forming in summer, flower buds first enter a dormant state. Then, after a period of cold in autumn and winter, they awaken (break dormancy) and continue to grow in early spring as temperatures rise.
