Afterlight Workshop

After the long blackout, a small town is waking up, but its helpful robots are tired and spare parts are scarce. You've inherited Old Rafi's workshop. Listen to each customer, test the robot, find the real fault and fix it, and every repair brings a little more light back to town.

HANDS-ON DIAGNOSIS
• Run tests with no load, at the customer's working load, or on a simulated long shift.
• Read the results: a normal reading rules a part out just as usefully as a bad one finds the fault.
• Isolate power, release the fasteners, open the bays, unplug and swap parts, clean, refurbish and calibrate.
• Run the final test and deliver. The same state always gives the same result: no dice rolls, no timers.
