Bread2Go GAME
hundred times. Somehow you are going to come home without the bread again.
That is the game Bread2Go is going to be. This is not it yet.
WHAT IS ACTUALLY IN THIS BUILD
We would rather tell you than have you find out.
• One level. Run, jump, reach the flag. About a minute of play
• Placeholder art: coloured rectangles. No character, no town, no shop
• On-screen buttons for left, right and jump
• One optional purchase, which is a tip jar and nothing more
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Mostly one thing: does the jumping feel right?
Art can be redrawn and levels can be added, but a platformer that feels
wrong under the thumb stays wrong. So tell us if the character is sluggish,
if a jump you should have made did not happen, if the buttons are in
awkward places, if anything crashes.
Anything else you notice is welcome too.
WHAT IS COMING
Real streets and a real shop. A character who looks like a person. The
things that go wrong on the way home — that is where the jokes live.
Each update will say what changed.
No ads, no timers, no energy. Every level stays free.
WHY IT LOOKS LIKE THIS
Bread2Go is being built for Shipaton 2026, a contest where the point is
to ship something and keep shipping, rather than polish in private until
the deadline. So the game grows in public, one small update at a time,
starting from the rectangles you see here.
