Build Pipeline Idle is an incremental game about growing a one-person compile
job into a self-hosting datacenter — but production here isn't just "buy the
biggest number." Every line you compile flows through a six-stage pipeline —
Parse, Typecheck, Optimize, Link, Test, Deploy — and your whole output is
capped by whichever stage is slowest. Buying more of the wrong thing does
nothing at all. Reading the bottleneck and fixing it is the actual game.

• Hire Interns, buy Dev Laptops, rent CI Runners, and build all the way up to
a datacenter region and a self-hosting compiler
• Watch a live flow diagram of your pipeline and find the stage that's
holding everything else back

again
• Manage tech debt: shipping fast piles it up and slows you down, refactoring
pays it back down — but it can never permanently lock your progress
• Take on client contracts that reserve a slice of your throughput for
steady side income
