Campagnol

Campagnol is a strategy game where you plant vegetables in shared plots to take control of them… but the voles come along and throw everything into disarray. Each plot has a point value, revealed as soon as it starts to fill up, and your goal is simple: secure a majority to score the most points.

On each turn, choose between planting a single vegetable or a double vegetable, each of which influences your strategy. Singles allow you to play powerful actions: flip voles to change the value of plots, strengthen your vegetables, remove your opponents’ vegetables, or lock down an area by filling it with a vegetable bed. Doubles, on the other hand, speed up your progress but must be used with caution.

Voles add a touch of tactical chaos: by moving them, you alter plot values, anger them… and sometimes, they devour a vegetable, completely overturning the majority. Each game becomes a duel of anticipation, bluffing, and timing.

At the end of the game, the vegetable alignments, the compost majority, and the plot values determine the winner. The rules are simple, but the choices are always tense: every action can change the course of the game.
