Durak X-Ray: Card Game GAME
The memory knows only what happened on the table. It never looks at hidden cards.
Durak X-Ray is Durak, the Russian card game also known as Fool, played offline against one, two or three computer players. Play the classic throw-in version (Podkidnoy) or transfer Durak (Perevodnoy), where the defender can pass the attack on. Deal the usual 36 cards or a full 52-card deck.
PLAY BETTER WITH IT
• Play with the memory on and notice which facts decide a game
• Tap your card before you play it to see the chance the defender beats it
• Tap an opponent to see what they picked up and what they probably lack
• Switch the memory off when you are ready and keep count in your head
• Test yourself against hard bots that remember the whole game
WHAT THE MEMORY SHOWS
• The exact hand of the last opponent still hiding cards once the deck is empty
• Which cards are out of play and how many of each rank are left
• The cards each opponent picked up and still holds
• The chance the defender can beat the card you are about to play, and in transfer Durak the chance they pass it on
• The highest card of every suit still in play, and the cards in your hand nobody can beat
• Who certainly has no trumps or no cards of a suit, how many trumps are left, how many cards in play beat each of yours and which of them the defender cannot beat or transfer
• What an opponent probably lacks: a player who took a nine instead of beating it likely has no higher card of that suit and no trump
• A move-by-move log of the whole game
FREE AND PREMIUM
• Durak itself is free with no limits: play as many games as you like
• In your first game the memory has no limit
• After that you get 3 free scans: each new look at a card, a player, the discard or the memory uses one. When they run out, you get 3 again an hour later
• Watching an ad can bring your scans back sooner
• A Premium subscription makes scans unlimited and removes all ads; on a tablet in landscape it also keeps the memory open beside the table
• Ads never interrupt a game in progress
RULES
• 36 or 52 cards, the trump is the bottom card of the deck
• Every player except the defender can throw in
• Up to 6 cards per attack, 5 in the first round
• Transfer Durak: until a card is beaten, the defender can add a card of the same rank and pass the whole attack to the next player
• Transfers can chain, and there is no transfer by showing a trump
• The last player holding cards is the durak
OPPONENTS
• Easy: spends trumps carelessly
• Normal: plays its cheapest cards and saves trumps while the deck is deep
• Hard: remembers the whole game and attacks with the cards you are least likely to beat or pass on
ALSO
• Your first game comes with a short walkthrough of the swipe and the taps
• Plays in portrait and landscape
